The San Francisco Darts League (SFDL) is here to promote the sport of darts within the City and County of San Francisco. The mission of The San Francisco Darts League (SFDL) is to promote the use, history and play of steel tip darts in the city and county of San Francisco, CA.
Founded in 1972 as the San Francisco Darts Association by Sam Hill, we adopted a new name and filing status as a Nonprofit Organization 501(c)(7)in 2014, The San Francisco Darts League (SFDL). Currently we oversee 20+ teams within 4 divisions (A, B, C, & D) playing out of 15+ bars within the city of San Francisco. We are always adding new bars as our membership grows! Our Fall 2018 Season had around 150 players participating!
We play on Wednesday evenings either at your home bar or at your opponents bar at 7:30pm. Play ends around 11:00pm, depending on the teams players and skill level. We offer league play twice a year in the Spring and Fall and are the producers of the SF Open, San Francisco's Annual dart tourney held in the fall of the years that we hold it.
