Rules for Tons

First person to 21 points wins.
To get points, each person throws three darts, alternating turns, trying to hit the points, but only scores of 100 or more will count.

100-139 = 1 point
140-177 = 2 points
180 = 3 points plus they retain their throw.

Determin who goes first and game on!

Scram

Rules for Scram

Scram is a two-player game, one player will be the scorer and the other will be the blocker. The numbers 1 - 20 are written on the scoreboard. The blocker throws their darts first. Each number that is hit is marked off the board. The scorer will then throw trying to score as many points as possible using the numbers that are left (doubles and triples count). Once the blocker has marked off all the numbers, the scorer totals their score, and the two players trade roles. The winner is the player that can score the most points.

If you are the blocker, hit the largest numbers first. Ideally, you will want to knock out the cricket numbers since they are the ones most people are use to throwing at. If you are the scorer, throwing at the largest number available may or may not be the best strategy. It you can shoot 17s much more accurately than the 18s, and they are both available, go ahead and shoot at the 17s. Hitting three 17s is better than hitting one or two 18s!

The game is easy to understand, yet deceptively addictive!

Rules for Low Ball

You can play Low Ball with any amount of people but it's best when you have more then three.

To begin the game, each player throws two darts at the same time with their dominant hand, the number that you hit is then your number in the order of who starts, the lowest number will go first.

From first to last, list the players names and 5 lines to represent their lives. When your lives are gone you are eliminated from the game. The last player left, wins!

All numbers, doubles and triples have the same value in a normal game of darts, doubles are twice the number and triples are three times the number, however bulls eyes are a negative number, with the center bull is negative 1 and the outter bull is negative ½. This means the best "lowest" score you can achieve is -3 (three double bulls eyes). If you miss the numbers or your dart falls out of the board, that dart counts as 20 points.

After the first player shoots their three darts the number is recorded and the next player then has to throw a lower number to survive, then the next player nmust throw lower then the previous player. A tie is a losing number. As players are eliminated the order remains and thus could be changing who is shooting in front of you or behind you.

Rules for Killer

You can play Killer with any amount of people but it's best when you have three or more.

To begin the game, each player throws a dart with their opposite throwing hand, (right handed players throw with the left and left handed throw with their right), the number that you hit is then your number. Every player must have their own number so if you hit a number already taken, you must throw again until you hit a number that is not taken.

Once everyone has their number and you have determined the throwing order each player, in turn, tries to hit the double of his or her own number and yes you use your regular throwing hand at this point. Once you have hit your double, you become a killer and a "K" is placed next to your name on the scoreboard. Once you are a killer, you then aim for the other players doubles. Each player has three lives and once your double has been hit three times you are out of the game; the last player standing wins. Be careful though, if you hit your own double after you have become a killer, you lose a life, so it is possible to kill yourself!

The most important thing to do in this game is to become a killer as fast as possible, the earlier you become a killer the better your chances of winning. You also need to keep track of your opponents because you need to know who will be aiming to take you out and who is no threat. You should take out other killers before worrying about those who are still trying to become one. The game can become ruthless when two or more players decide to gang up on someone, but remember it's just a game and have some fun.

Rules for Chaos

Chaos is 3 dart games played all at the same time! 301, 501 and Cricket.
The object of the game is to win 2 out of the 3 games played.

You score the game (on a nice large chalkboard or 2)
chaos

The gist of the game is you throw your 3 darts (leave them in the board while you chalk your score) and you score on all 3 of the games with those 3 darts. For instance you throw at the double 20 but hit 2 single 20s and a single 5. So would would score nothing on the 301 (you missed the double), but on the 501 you would minus 45 (20+20+5) leaving you 456 (in 501) then score your cricket 2x20's.

Strategy: You don't have to start at 20's but just like cricket, 20 is the strongest number. Aiming at doubles first is one way to go.
When I played chaos for the first time, I missed my double 20 with all 3 darts and on my second turn threw at my double, double 16 and got in, but since my opponent had closed 20 and 19 in cricket, I finished off the 16's and went to 17's.

On the the other hand, one could write off 301 and just concentrate on a good cricket / 501 game. Remember you only need win 2 out the the three games to be the winner!

Once you play this game, you'll want to play again and again.
